eiya's been on the brain,, I've been thinking about her and her arc so much and im very not normal about her SO! i had to make a video centered around her hehe
this video is pretty much five years worth of grief, loneliness, resentment, and hostility building up until eiya pretty much explodes from it. i wanted to reflect how their anger is warping their view of how she sees pretty much everyone- including herself. so for that reason, she's an unreliable narrator in her own life. not to mention there's nex who's encouraging her self-destructive tendencies and provides justifications for their rage. (also nex got a redesign!!! his eyes are the same as they always were though- they're just red for the purposes/symbolism of this video)
she see's kane as villainous- the one who opened the door to her father's death. the reason behind all the loneliness and regret she's received. a murderer's apologist. someone who deserves next to none of the praise and rewards he's been getting.
she can't just let him get away with it, right?
PLEASE do not take any of my runes videos as completely canon!! things are subject to change as the comic continues. if it isnt in the comic yet, dont assume its going to 100% happen in the comic.
