Mom's Cake Recipe

Mix together in a large bowl
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanila
In another smaller bowl mix together
3 1/2 cups flour
4 Teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk to be added as follows
Add flower mixture a bit at a time to the liquid ingredients. When the mixture is an even consistency, mix in a bit of the milk. Continue this process until all the dry. ingredients and the milk are gone. Try to end with the flour.

Pour into a prepared 13"X9" baking pan
Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 1 hour.
Cake is done when a toothpick can be inserted and comes out clean.

This recipe also makes great oatmeal cookies by adding 4 cups of oatmeal to the mixture.
