If you’re planning to build a Blacksmith in Ragnarok Zero, there are a few mechanics you really need to understand before dumping all of your stats into STR or copying someone else’s build.
In this episode, I tested different things that actually affect our damage and farming performance — including HIT and DEX, VIT scaling, weapon size penalties, Weapon Perfection, elemental converters, racial damage bonuses, SP consumption, and the way I personally use this build for mob farming.
One of the biggest things I learned is that Ragnarok damage is not always as simple as getting a stronger weapon or adding more STR. Monster size, race, element, your weapon type, and even the monsters you’re planning to farm can completely change what setup works best.
I’ll also show you the Blacksmith stats I ended up using, why I stopped investing heavily into VIT and STR, why I added some INT for SP, and why this build currently feels much better to me when played manually by gathering monsters and killing them together.
Later in the video, we’ll take everything we tested and apply it to actual Nordfield farming so you can see how the build performs outside of training dummies.
