Join us on an enchanting adventure as we visit the Christmas Grotto at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Guided by cheerful elves, we step into a winter wonderland filled with festive fun and magic. 🌟
First, we walk through an enchanted christmas scene and we then got to collect reindeer food and a magic key! 🦌🔑
Next, it’s time to meet the big man himself – Santa Claus! 🎅 Each child receives a special gift from Santa, making the experience truly unforgettable.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Well it kinda did.... With our Grotto tickets, we were going to take a whimsical ride on the Alice in Wonderland attraction and warm up with some delicious hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. 🍫☕ however the alice ride was closed and apparently wasnt going to open until 11am (we were there at 10) and also we were not sure where we picked up our hot chocolate from as there were no signs to direct us....
Feeling festive and lucky? We did try our hand at some classic Christmas games like hook-a-duck Who knows, we might just win a gingerbread Ted....
We did the Grotto last year and for the price we were impressed, but this year... not so much.... overall it wasnt the greatest experience, in that although we were there on the first day, they didnt seem to have set up everything ready... then after we had seen santa our ride on alice didnt happen as it was not open and we didnt get our hot chocolate... If it was our little ones first trip to see the big guy in red we wouod have been quite annoyed and disappointed.
