Blackpool Council have plans to demolish the former tram workshop, now the TramTown Museum in Blackpool, which will lead to the classic heritage trams being left to rot in the old garage, which itself is in need of repairs.
Can we save the old Blackpool trams?
Write to council leader Lynn Williams and stress the importance of the heritage trams to Blackpool. They should come under council ownership, where funding to secure the future would be easier to do than the current situation.
