I was lucky enough to have a friend order the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K as soon as it was announced and let me test it out as soon as it arrived. Here is a quick test of the 4K 60FPS

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Wow.. I am very impressed with this camera for the price-point. Honestly think it's almost a pocket RED camera. The first thing you'll notice on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is the massive 5" screen on the back (the same size as the screen I use on my RED). The menu system is very intuitive and easy to use/quick to learn. The button on the body are awesome and make operating the camera a dream.

Image wise the camera is unbelievable. I only got to test out the Prores LT as I was shooting to SD cards and it held up so nicely when colour grading. The amount I pushed the image in post was pretty crazy so happy to see that there was no interfacing. The dynamic range is insane as you can obviously tell.

Can't wait to get my hands on this camera again for a bit longer and see what I can create with a bit more time. This was shot in just under an hour with no prior use of the camera.
