After all the updates, the patches, Treyarch's support of the game in general, and overall how the game runs, I believe this game was made specifically for professional, tournament play. Now, that might be something we all know by now, but for those who don't see it, here's my reasoning:
The connection on this game is one of the worst in Call of Duty history. If it were to run on a LAN party however, things would be fine. Popular game types such as TDM and Free For All do not support the score streak system in this game. Game types such as Domination and Kill Confirmed support it much better, which also might be featured in tournament games. Also, even before the release of this game the entire Treyarch team supported tournament style gameplay through the live streams of live events. They were all objective type game modes, showing off the score streak system. Without extra points to get, score streaks in TDM and Free For All are extremely difficult to get. And, most of the patches released for this game have addressed things with league play. However, the majority of the players on this game play regular games.
But, what do you guys think of this? Was this game designed for professional play? Or was the team at Treyarch meaning to make a game for everyone, but it was released with issues to start, like most other Call of Duty games? What do you think?
