With the Black Ops Cold War & Warzone season 1 coming to a close, here's another look at all the progression systems we talked about leading up to launch and s1, as I play through Firebase Z for the first time in the background. Now after plenty of playtime, I can go through what I've liked and thought about the updated seasonal levelling, prestiges, challenges, the missing concept of 100 percenter, dailies, prestige keys, ribbon stars, and how it's affected by what I'm feeling about the gameplay in general.
There have been many improvements to the seasonal system, but I think more could be done to create a focus around one ultimate goal to get me engaged in the challenge hunt. As it stands, I'm not drawn towards the MP whatsoever but the current system, but will enjoy the camo grind and whatever Zombies has to offer.
