The Vanishing of Harry Pace is a miniseries from Radiolab about the phenomenal but forgotten man who changed the American music scene. It's a story about betrayal, family, hidden identities and a time like no other.
In the third episode of The Vanishing of Harry Pace, we meet Harry's grandkids and great-grandkids as they discover the incredible true story of who he really is. We follow Harry’s descendants as they un-vanish the vanishing and try to come up with explanations with what it all means in their own lives.

Based on the book “Black Swan Blues: the Hard Rise and Brutal Fall of America’s First Black Owned Record Label” by Paul Slade. The series features interviews with Pace's descendants and more than 40 musicians, historians, writers and musicologists, all of whom grapple with Pace’s enduring legacy.
