Some things to make the Yellow Wind Sage much easier:
1. Complete the quest for the Boar guy to access the Secret Area. Beat the boss there and you'll get an item that staggers him for a LONG time. Like 10 seconds or something. Use on Phase 2 to turn off all his wind junk, pluys gain wind resistance!
2. Fully upgrade the clones spell.It's completely busted. You'll need to get to level 45 to fully upgrade it, but even before then, it's very strong!
3. Upgrade your focus to get 3 Focus points. a fully charged smash attack knocks him over and lets you pummel hiim for a bit!
4. Of course, "git gud" and learn the moves well enough to make it through the fight. Use medicines you like to increase your damage output, stamina, defense, or whatever you feel you need.
