Greta - bright metallic green (not currently available)
The Fog - muted argyle purple
Hellraiser - bright cobalt blue
Elm Street - burgundy red (very close to Deranged liquid lipstick)
Misery - taupe nude
My favorite is Hellraiser because I look amazing in bright saturated blues, followed by Greta as I have a weakness for greens. Misery is supposed to be a flattering taupe nude for all. The Fog is a very unique purple and I like the muted quality. Elm Street is a true burgundy with no brown tones. There are 3 other shades in this line. Dracula is on my wish list because it's a blue-toned red. Werewolf is a deep brown, and Omen is a pure black.
If you are cool toned like I am, I look for blue-toned reds because I find them the most flattering. I also look for blue undertones in a lot of lip and complexion products.
All of these lipsticks are creamy and pigmented. I'm still anemic, so I don't always get the best pressure/angle for my swatches right now.
The best way to apply bullet lipsticks is to outline your lips with a lip liner so you have a crisp lip line. Next, apply the Sinister Satin bullet lipstick and blot with a tissue. Then, apply one more layer and blot. You can also take a single ply of tissue paper and carefully put that over your lips, then use a fluffy brush to dust a loose setting powder on top of your lips, then remove the tissue. That always helps the lasting power and minimize transfer. Some pro mua brands also used to sell a clear lip lock lipstick sealer that can increase the longevity even more.
