This was originally planned as a New Years Special, but I didn't plan out how much time I would need to put everything together. Here it is, my biggest PFA No Lag project ever, with a 1,000,000x slowdown, 113 hours of recording, and 2,886,740 polyphony! Probably the last one I will do for a long time. This is now the biggest polyphony ever nolagged using the standard slowdown method. This MIDI actually does have 2.8 million polyphony, which I realized too late after checking it in fastmidiinformation (https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/742751287304781857/1015224705873084416/unknown.png ). Zenith shows the incorrect count for some reason...
I had to load the MIDI 5 times, each loading taking 11-14 hours. Loading progress was lost several times due to someone else turning off my pc, PFA crashing because my monitor got disconnected, playing into the crashpoint at a fast speed by accident, and a power outage. It kind of was a huge pain in the butt to make this, but I didnt give up.
Now a few FAQ (Inspired by LucasMIDI):
Q: Why did the FPS counter get stuck at 165.0 , 0.0 , 2020.0
A: This is a bug with the omnimidi speedhack that freezes the fps counter in the info box for some reason.
Q: Why does the battery icon appear on the task bar during the crashpoint
A: I recorded on my PC first, but after the power outage I decided to switch to my laptop to record the rest, just to be safe. I booted windows from the same SSD for both, so thats how it looks very similar.
Q: How big are the video files
A: Around 27 GB. I recorded on 1 fps with 500 kbps bitrate for the very slow parts, and 15 fps with 10000 kbps for the rest.
Q: Why does the playback toolbar appear for a few frames during the crash
A: I forgot to hide it after reloading, and then was too lazy to re-record 23 hours of video. Im a fish lmao
Q: Can you show PROOF you actually recorded for this long?
A: Yes.
