This MIDI will truly make your PC Shrekt. With a crash of over 5 Million Notes per second (NPS) and over 2 Million Polyphony, This is damn near impossible to pass; Espically on a core 2 Quad. Also I didnt want to OR the midi, because that takes the fun out of nolagging. I recorded the crash over 3 Days, but It still lagged. I used 0.00001 Speed in cheat engine for the crash. At that point, I did not want to record for 30 days (I would literally have to if I was going to nolag it) or shell out $2000 for the new PC that I am buying parts for. However, I did get close to it. So enjoy a weeks worth of work for this 3 minute video lmao (4 Days Total Recording, 1 day speeding up video, 1 day editing, 1 day audio rendering).

I finally made this video! It has been on my checklist for a long time, and I always wanted to do a PFA No-Lag of this.

Now everyone knows that you can’t open more than a 2gb midi in Piano From Above, but it is limited to files under the exact limit of 2GiB, which ranges between 250 to around 270 million notes. To combat this, the midi is split into 10 parts and can be merged to fit the limit with 2 separate parts. I spent quite a few days on this, totaling a week, and the final video was over 12GB, making it hard to upload, but I did do it (hence why this video is uploaded).
I primarily used 0.01 speed (100x) for the entire first part, but I did the 1st crash at 0.0001 speed (10000x) which was actually too slow, and I could’ve done 0.001 (1000x) easily. Most of the 2nd part is done at 0.01 and 0.001 speed (the final crash), but the first crash and the end melody (10x) are other speeds.
You can see the split at 9:06, as the timer shifts from 9 minutes to 14 minutes and the colors change. There is no easy place to split it, so that is the cleanest spot that would work well.
I also left the PFA fps indicator in on purpose, mostly because I was too lazy to to remove it.
I also scaled the video up to 1440p so that it would use youtube’s good video codec rather than their shitty one based on a recommendation from HÚNG. The 1440p video wouldn’t even play well on my pc, it would lag at some points lol. My cpu was maxed out in most parts.
For a bit of a personal update, I haven’t found a good sale on the Asus X570-E, so It is better to wait for the X670 series and Ryzen 4000 to come on sale later this year. I also can save up more money for a better CPU and GPU that way. That means no PC building live stream at 1000 subs, but I have a New plan for that now :)
