Someone asked me recently if when I meet another Black person do I feel an intrinsic connection because of our Blackness. I said that yes but only on a surface level because in our current reality, seeing so many Black folks signing up to be terrible I understand that there are no shared values with Blackness. The colonization of our people has been effective.
