🌲🇩🇪 EXPLORING THE STUNNING BLACK FOREST, GERMANY! 🇩🇪🌲
Join us as we explore one of the most beautiful parts of Germany — the incredible Black Forest! 🌲🏔️
Our adventure starts with a taste of the famous traditional Black Forest cake (Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte) 🍰 before heading out to take in some absolutely stunning scenery.
We then jump on a Ferris wheel overlooking a beautiful lake 🎡🏞️ before things get a little more exciting as we take on an alpine coaster through the hills of the Black Forest! 🎢😱
Next, we head to the beautiful town of Triberg, famous for its traditional Black Forest cuckoo clocks ⏰. We explore the town, browse some amazing handmade clocks and visit the spectacular Triberg Waterfalls, one of the region’s most famous natural attractions. 💦🌲
🇩🇪 BLACK FOREST FACTS!
🌲 The Black Forest is a large forested mountain region in southwestern Germany, mainly in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
🏔️ Its highest mountain is Feldberg, which rises to around 1,493 metres above sea level.
⏰ The region has a long tradition of clockmaking, and cuckoo clocks became particularly associated with the Black Forest from the 18th century onwards. (Triberg)
💦 The famous Triberg Waterfalls drop through a series of cascades with a total fall of around 163 metres. (Triberg)
🕰️ Triberg is often described as the heart of Black Forest cuckoo-clock country, and the area even has the German Clock Route, a roughly 267-kilometre route celebrating the region’s clockmaking heritage. (Germany Travel)
