While FOX21 Anchor Rachel Saurer was at the Black Forest Fire Station talking about our Fire Relief Fundraiser with United Way, a touching moment was captured by Chief Photojournalist Dez Rowe. A 2013 Black Forest Fire Survivor, Carol Berges, walked up and donated $100 to help those affected by the Aspen Acres Fire.
"I feel sorry for the families, and I just want to help in whatever way I can, so my husband and I [are donating] to the cause," she said.
