Black Desert Heidel Ball June 2024 covered a lot: Sovereign weapons, the Dosa class reveal, Land of the Morning Light Soul, and a hardcore PVP server.
Pearl Abyss used the June 2024 Heidel Ball to lay out both the near-term roadmap and the long-term shape of the world, starting with an updated world map that adds Demon Land, the Mountain of Dawnbreak with its 100 floor dungeon, and a time-travel region built on a revamped version of the existing map. Land of the Morning Light Soul is the next main story area, arriving August 7th in Korea and in the fall for global after localization, with eight side stories, a new manor, and more complex story combat. Sovereign weapons were the headline gear update, sitting above PEN Blackstar as the new highest grade, enhanceable across 10 levels past PEN through OCT, NOV and DEC, with three separate crafting paths and up to five transfusion effects. On the systems side there is a new Black Shrine format with 10 group bosses and aura-based roles, Palace Management as a new life skill, Dehkia Tier 2 at 750 GS, and guild trait tiers that double as PVP MMR. Dosa was revealed as the new male class, a Hwando and pipe user built around chained fire and smoke attacks, releasing July 3rd globally with a Global Lab preview on June 28th.
