I’ve had this old B&D weed trimmer/edger for about twenty years and it’s worked perfectly till recently. The cap that holds the spool on broke after years of being tapped on the ground to release more string. I tried to glue it but it didn’t work. I tried to check with B&D to see if they sold replacement spool caps, but they didn’t. After a quick search I found a cap, spring and six spoils of trimmer string on Amazon.
