This World Record finally exposes the NEW Mushroom strat that I have been trying to get to work since 2017. Technically, it might even be SLOWER than the previous Mushroom strat, but the thing is that this strat circumvents the extremely difficult to deal with wavy part once you start going at my World Record pace. The wavy part is where I failed a lot of runs over the last years, this Mushroom strat is a real lifesaver.
This was a pretty solid run, though the track can be pushed even further, I've always said that with the limitations of the human skills, you can push the track to about 1:36.08X, we're going to see in the coming years whether my theory made in 2016 still holds strong.
I quit playing for a long time since the debacle of 1:36.159 not getting saved to my cartridge because of a cartridge error, I came back 3 or 4 days ago, and I already set a new World Record! I consider the 1:36.159 the "Unofficial World Record", while 1:36.163 was the "Official World Record".

It's finally time to publicly introduce the project that I have been working on for the past 5 weekends!
This is the Livestream Production Manager, an ASP.NET MVC web application, with whom you can manage the overlay of any fighting game, and if you are a creative developer, any game!
This project is to help tournament streamers that are just starting out.
I am mostly focusing on managing the overlay Super Smash Bros. game overlays, but any fighting series, such as Street Fighter, Tekken and Mortal Kombat is manageable with this application if you are willing to put the time and effort into developing for that.
I wasn't satisfied with the previous "Smash Overlay Managers" due to my lack of experience in desktop app programming and how difficult it is to make them flexible for any game and format, so I decided to start anew with an ASP.NET MVC project, which is what I have a lot of experience in.
This is the first update, in which I am able to manage the Singles and Doubles format overlays of the Wii U and Ultimate games.
I am planning on working on this long term and maybe one day use it to stream fighting game tournaments.
I wouldn't recommend immediately going to GitHub and forking the repository to develop your own version, as I am still working on it every weekend, and I might implement something next week at the same time that you are.
Follow me on Twitter to see how I progress with this project as well as other things I do in my free time: http://www.twitter.com/gogoku7 Contact me on Discord: C | Gogoku7 #5891Smash Wii U Overlay Manager for Tournament streaming (Open Source) - Doubles - Showcase 1Gogoku72018-09-28 | I've been working on a Doubles variant of my Smash Wii U Overlay Manager for the past 3 weekends, and this is the (almost) final result showcase.
My goal is to create a dynamically editable overlay for Super Smash Bros. Wii U Doubles usable for any tournament streamer using HTML, CSS and C#.
And most important of all, it is open source and can be used by anyone for any Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Wii U tournament! You can also take the source code and build your own version with additional functionality. I will not accept any pull requests unless it fixes an important bug.
Everything about this Doubles Manager has been improved from the Smash Wii U Singles Manager variant, I am planning to now go back to the Smash Wii U Singles Overlay Manager and implement all these improvements into that one.

NOOOOOOOOOO, WHY WHY WHY WHY I WANTED THE SUB SO BADLY, I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!
Amazing run, the only problem is that I adjusted my angle on the escalator, which really cost me the SUB, the Glider boost S3 was a little meh and the final SC could’ve been a little better.
First World Record to sub 34.900 Section 2.
I SWEAR TO GOK THAT THE NEXT WORLD RECORD WILL BE THE SUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before, I had to switch between scenes in order to update the overlay when a CSS file has changed.
This is a project I've been working on and off on for the past few months that I call the Smash Wii U Singles Overlay Manager.

This is only the first release of this software, I will refine it a little bit more until I will move on to a Doubles overlay manager and an overlay manager for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Switch.

Darnit! Darnit! DARNIT!! I really did not want this to happen again, another SUB fail due to the final shortcut!!!!
Section 1 is extremely good, too good even, to the point that it is actually annoying to play against!!
First World Record to sub 31.900 in Section 1.

Darnit! The thing that I feared the most actually happened! I wish this run would've been the 1:36 SUB! I only missed it because of, once again, the final shortcut.
This run was outstanding besides the final shortcut though, maybe even 1:35.8XX worthy!
First World Record to sub 1:36.050.
Still aiming to SUB 1:36, it could possibly be the next WR.[Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - 1:36.075 (60fps version remastered)Gogoku72018-03-02 | Previous upload had something very wrong with it...[Mario Kart 7] Rainbow Road - 1:36.075 - Gogoku7 (Former World Record)Gogoku72018-02-28 | World Record update: 27-02-2018, around 20:04
Unbelievable run! I used to think for a long time that 1:36.08X was the human limit, but here we are, at 1:36.075! I'd call this the Limit Breaker run!
I finally managed to get Hugo's strat to work in a World Record, which makes this Section 2 incredibly difficult to beat.
I was EXTREMELY nervous during Section 3, a real bummer that I didn't do a perfect final SC, it could have possibly cost me the sub, I'm not 100% sure.
First World Record to sub 1:36.100.
My next goal is the SUB 1:36.Pokémon Stadium - Episode 28 - Unlocking Surfing Pikachu + VS Mewtwo (Round 2) (Grand Finale)Gogoku72018-02-04 | Previous Episode: youtu.be/jB2ykS-pZ8A Next Let's Play:
