Known as the grandmother of King Tut. Queen Tiye is little known as a powerful matriarch in her own right. She ruled alongside her husband Amenhotep III before ruling outright for several years following his death. Her bust is one of the most iconic busts created during the New Kingdom and is admired for its realism. I created a reconstruction of Queen Tiye based on her bust and he mummy and the results were striking and consistent.
