We often see some really strange things with the Chronos high speed camera and this might be some of the weirdest. In this video we conduct some tests of Denver's Minie' Moose slugs. Without any spin to stabilize them, a slug has to use a combination of center of gravity, center of pressure, and drag to self-stabilize. It's a lot like rocketry. In this case we see the slugs over-correct in an extreme way despite never actually tumbling.
