The first Wild Camp I have managed in a while.
I haven't been able to get out much for overnight camps this year because I was needed at home to care for my wife Mandy who underwent extensive heart surgery earlier this year.
In total she spent 14 weeks in hospital, 4 weeks in intensive care, suffered cardiac arrests, a stroke and loss of vision in her right eye after heart surgery to replace her ascending Aorta.
It has been beyond stressful for all of us. Fortunately she has survived although will have issues going forward but generally she is quite happy and has some limited mobility.
I am grateful to you who have stuck around and supported me and my family. On the whole your comments and continued support has been a source of encouragement and comfort for us in many ways so a BIG THANKYOU.
Going forward I am hoping to include more Wild camping back onto the channel provided the situation at home allows.
These are going to have to be short, local camps where I will be setting up late by torchlight and leaving early at the first light of dawn to be home in time for the dog walks and other commitments and hopefully on occasions I may be able to go out longer.
It sure was good to get out on this camp. I hope you enjoy the video:)
