In this video I demonstrate a personal workflow technique for creating good-sounding bass drops REALLY FAST. Broadly known as "mudpie chopping", it's based on the way that Hip Hop producers typically do "sample flips" with their MPC controllers and such. I was originally taught this technique by my mentors in Ableton Live, which generally relies on the "Simpler" instrument and a Push controller. Since Bitwig doesn't have anything quite like "Simpler" to easily enable this workflow, I show you what I think is the fastest, easiest way to accomplish the same workflow in Bitwig.
Although I don't reference it in this video, here is a link to the "Bitwig Handbook" that it often mentioned in this series. This is an evergreen document that I will continue to expand and improve as I make more Bitwig tutorials.
