A hop-full reflection on my time spent in Los Angeles and how I'm leaving it out of mental necessity, because of the unusual amount of heavy depression it caused me in such a short amount of time. So of course, the chordal structure is unstable like the lyrics. I like what I like and...I guess I'm still figuring out how hard it is to accept that.
Lyrics:
Help yourself to some compliments,
Full of few helpful elements,
Sweet like the love we crave,
Treating trust to an early grave.
Oh how small,
Oh how small,
My bitter fortune.
Paraphrase, transfer,
Let me see if she’s on-call.
Sorry, dead cold,
Cast a do-over.
Two for sixty-nine,
That’s a good economy.
But the problem is,
When do we stop?
Help us all to some violence,
Even though you feel on the fence.
Soured virtue everywhere,
May inspire us to care.
But the forces on tap,
Would like to say:
No more.
Parakeet, transfer,
Let me see if she rolled by.
Sorry, wrong way,
Cast a copycat.
Two for sixty-nine,
That’s a good investment.
But the problem is,
When does it stop?
Please do not answer,
I’m just fine to start over.
Cancel all of these sticky notes.
Oh how small,
Oh how small,
My bitter fortune.
No more of sampling,
These flavors alone,
Help yourself right now.
So I’ve heard about,
The ones who go passionate.
And I can safely say,
The taste was acquired.
Parachute, transfer,
Let me see if she got out.
Did she fall for it or,
Will they post bail for us?
Parting ways, brother,
Let me see the choice I have.
Oh how small,
Oh how small,
My bitter fortune,
To the bitter end.
