Top secret project for Ground Kontrol. Shhhh...
A whole lot of 1/8" thick HDPE triangles + plastic welder + masking tape + time = first stellation of an icosahedron.

One frame per minute at 10fps = 53+ seconds. Ouch.
Plastic was cut by a waterjet, everything else is just done by hand. I built a form to hold the pieces while making the small triangular pieces (that's the triangular base you see me setting everything on during the first part of the video).
