Bishop T.L. Penny is sparking conversation after preaching about covenant, loyalty and honoring church leaders.

Bishop Penny said covenant does not disappear because a member becomes offended and even argued that members should not allow family members to disrespect the leader who watches over their soul.

“That’s not cultish, it’s covenant,” she declared.
