I hope you enjoy seeing the birthday party I threw for my Hermann tortoise Sheldon. She turned 10 years old on the 6/6/2020.

For her birthday breakfast she was offered;
✿ Hawk’s-beard - Safe feed
✿ Navelwort - Safe feed
✿ Scotch Thistle- Safe feed
✿ Plantain - Safe feed
✿ Roundleaf Cranesbill Geranium - Safe feed
✿ Dandelion - Moderate feed
✿ Nasturtium - Moderate feed
✿ Charlock/field mustard - Moderate feed
✿ Begonia - Moderate feed
✿ Bindweed - Moderate feed
✿ Ladies Mantle - Moderate feed
✿ Wild strawberry - Sparing feed
✿ Goose Grass - Sparing feed
(according to the tortoise table app/website).

I painted a plate, cutlery and her name onto a slate with a non toxic water based paint and made bunting and a party hat out of card, thread and a pom pom. She wasn’t left unsupervised with any of the decorations. She doesn’t normally have this much food in one go but this was a birthday treat. It’s also the first time she’s ever been offered a tiny wild strawberry fruit as it’s not considered part of a Hermann tortoises diet (they would rarely eat fruit in the wild). She was also wet in the beginning of the video because she’d just had a soak x
