While staying at Manta Resort, Pemba in northern Zanzibar archipelago of Tanzania, we got to celebrate a birthday anniversary. Our dinner at night took place on the beach, a perfect night with a sky full of stars above us and none else around. The only sound was the waves slowly rolling in a few meters away. After dinner we heard some people approaching, singing, and some candles moving closer. The wonderful staff at Manta Resort was giving us a birthday surprise, with singing in both Swahili and English and presenting us a nice birthday cake with candles and all.

Thanks to the friendly and wonderful staff for giving us such wonderful memories from this day as well as the whole stay. You’re truly amazing!
