I'm not sure if anyone will even watch this since it's the most random media ever but oh well –
Today was kind of a shit day so I decided to edit something comforting to help me relax and since I finally found a download link for this movie a few weeks back and have been itching to edit them, here we go!
Ronja has been my favorite book as a kid up until my teens, and it's something I can always return to to make me feel warm and at home. I love Ronja's and Birk's friendship so much, and looking back at it now - are we really surprised? They have my favorite story trope (found family) and also fit my typical type in ships - altho I never shipped them romantically haha.
The song on the other hand just goes so well with these two, and while it's not the type of song I'm good with for liveaction, it's one I've wanted to edit for a long, long time (I actually started a video with it back when NagiAsu was airing, but that project got lost when my laptop died.. I'm still sad). Overall this is far from a perfect edit for many reasons (the lack of scenes where these two don't talk, the fact that I don't know ANY swedish whatsoever to get proper voiceovers done, the TERRIBLE clip quality...), but I hope maybe I can share some of my undying love for these two with you all. And if you're interested and neither a book- nor liveaction person, there's a ghibli series out there that is a pretty decent adaption (altho the animation is somewhat painful).
This movie is super old, so finding a coloring that makes the scenes look a little less terrible was quite a challenge for sure, but I'm quite happy with how it looks now. :)

A while back Mitzi & I were talking about how we both need to edit Three Houses more often and so we decided what better way to do so than to collab? :) She suggested the song and Im so glad about the choice!! Our respective ship choices and styles go really well with it imo :)
This was supposed to be a comfort, no pressure collab and Im happy we managed to finish in a timely manner despite that! This collab really helped me calm down during a shitty time so that makes it even better...
Collabing with Mitzi is always the best as it helps me learn new things plus her song choices are always.. so good ahh. I hope you all love this as much as I loved editing it!

At the end of his Jotho journeys, Ash has to leave Misty behind and starts another journey in another region, where he meets May. They become a couple. However, they have to part ways again because they want to travel different regions. Ash continues his journey. Then he meets Misty again and he realizes how much he missed her and remember all the good times they had. He also sees that his relationship with May was a mistake because during all this time hes always been in love with Misty, just too stubborn to admit it.
He feels like he cant make up for it and asks Misty (and May, for kind of cheating on her) to forgive him.
