BIRDS of PREY Trailer 1 Reaction! -The Welborn Show. I gotta be honest with you #DCComics is hit or miss for me right now but I think this has potential. Why?
I really like what Margot Robbie has done with #HarleyQuinn, I think the Huntress is an interesting character to explore (especially since they turned her into a complete waste in the Arrow Universe on the CW), & if traction is gained with Black Canary we may see Oliver on the big screen one day which would be fantastic!
On top of all that- I'm a huge Ewan McGregor fan and seeing him as Black Mask has me pumped up!
The #BirdsOfPrey trailer is just the first and they make that distinction in their official title. I think this is intentional. This trailer is basically the Harley Quinn show. I'm guessing that each trailer following is going to highlight a different female character, which I think is a fantastic way to go!
It allows DC to show some backstory and familiarize the audience with the characters without needing to spend precious minutes in the film doing origin stories for each one.
