Bionicle Chronicles was the first book series based on the BIONICLE universe. It covered the events that occurred in the storyline's 2001/2002/2003 story arc. Most books in Chronicles were written by Cathy Hapka (except for Tales of the Masks, which was written by Greg Farshtey).
