Do. Not. Use. Seachem 'Prime'. Seachem Prime and similar products which mess with the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate starves the bacteria and prevents a full cycle.
You will then be tricked into relying on other (unnecessary) products and large regular water changes to keep the water 'right' - doing so demonstrates a catastrophic ignorance of aquarium filtration and Natural systems. The link below explains the situation fully so feel free to share it anywhere online even if you copy and past it to pass off as your own thoughts - I don't mind as long as the information gets out there.

When it comes to setting up aquarium systems and aquatic environments one way results in less ongoing costs, less maintenance, happier fish and happier you. The other way results in a constant battle to keep the water 'right' and causes stress to the fish and you. It also results in you being bled dry by companies selling chemicals you don't need in a battle to keep the fish happy.
