I will never ask you to donate to the channel, I have nothing locked in a 'members only' section, no begging links but if you have a spare couple of minutes and have used Biohome filter media or FilterPro.co.uk please leave us a review here: https://g.page/r/CeoTgGNTeVWREAE/review
It really means a lot since our business built on a value-for-value model and the more information you can include in a review the better it will be for someone new to the reality of a true full nitrogen cycle.

The Biohome Aquarium Back Panels are designed to help you achieve a 'living wall' whether that be via planting or fixing corals to it.
Since the panels are made of Biohome filter media they are porous and support aerobic and anaerobic bacteria - helping you to achieve a full nitrogen cycle (natural reduction in nitrate even with no plants in the system).
The panels are very much at the prototype stage but we are looking for people to test them long term in small tanks - get in touch if you are interested. All we ask is that you provide us with honest thoughts, photos and ideally short videos. Ideally we want to send test products to people who have a decent social media presence so their thoughts can be shared honestly with others.

If you have any further suggestions / ideas then we are very willing to listen.

*Questions?*
There is a nation of information here about filter media, bacteria and filtration: filterpro.co.uk/qa-24-w.asp

*Water conditioners? Some help, some harm*
I made a video on this subject ages ago but very few people listen... youtube.com/watch?v=1YCtMYZQlig&t=6s
The water conditioner I recommend: geni.us/vzqUMu
Do. Not. Use. Seachem 'Prime'. Seachem Prime and similar products which mess with the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate actively starve the bacteria and prevent a full cycle (natural reduction in nitrate through bacterial processes).
You will then be tricked into relying on other (unnecessary) products and large regular water changes to keep the water 'right' - doing so demonstrates a catastrophic ignorance of aquarium filtration and Natural systems but that is all that is promoted by (paid-for) online 'influencers'. Remember, they get paid every time someone buys a 'treatment' they don't need ..... surely it is better to make sure that the filter is as efficient as possible and the environment is tailored to the needs of the fish from day one?
The link below explains the situation fully so feel free to share it anywhere online even if you copy and past it to pass off as your own thoughts - I don't mind as long as the information gets out there.

*Very important post*
Our understanding (or lack thereof) of Nature is why aquarium filtration and the general Natural system either prospers or fails: youtube.com/post/UgkxQR8CbpF8GxMbWmhjBk88kKKngpvo6d3G
When it comes to setting up aquarium systems and aquatic environments one way results in less ongoing costs, less maintenance, happier fish and happier you. The other way results in a constant battle to keep the water 'right', massive weekly water changes and causes stress to the fish and you. It also results in you being bled dry by companies selling chemicals you don't need in a battle to keep the fish happy.
Guess which one is promoted everywhere .... yup.

Thanks for watching and feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding tank set-up and filtration.
Answering emails, phone calls and replying to questions will always be free.
