LAST VIDEO OF YEAR 2025!
Here you are my umpteenth longplay of Binary Land, this time it's the Sharp X1 version, dumped almost two years ago from this video uploading by @retro-rock3067 (thank you for what you did!). I suppose the reason why the mazes are bigger is because of the screen size of the Sharp X1 computer, since the maze size of the MSX version is the same as in the NES version. Well, the NES version is still the best version in my honest opinion, but I was amazed about the easter egg after completing level 32 in this version. Normally, a heart shows up after completing a level, but level 32 is the only one that shows a white man (probably more like Gurin's and Malon's son..). For this reason I was curious to see what happens after completing level 40, even since I don't manage to make it past level 40, I had to verify it by myself by using savestates and I noticed that once completed round 40, a regular heart appears just like the other levels and spiders still keep being the fastest. Well, it seems that the X1 version was designed to let the player rapidly lose all lives from level 34 on, as most of the times spiders refuse to be killed by our own antibug spray or some level layouts are designed in a very random and awkward way.
