For this trip David and I started out in Mecca, meeting up with around 15 other people or so. We were on the street a bit, then rode along the Coachella Canal most of the day. The wind was relentless, nonstop cross and headwinds like I have never experienced. I was basically blown off my bike around 3 or 4 times. Having to ride with the bike tipped to one side to counter balance against the wind was interesting. We got to camp just before dark after 53 miles and set up our tents, woke up with everything covered in sand. Day two we explored Slab City a while and then rode the highway to Bombay Beach. Just as windy as day one the highway was slightly less brutal because it was at least smooth, after some burger and beer we explored the beach and called it a day after battling the wind for 31 miles.

Shitty video quality can be blamed on youtube, but also my gopro was changing settings on its own in my pocket a few separate times, and my PC is about 12 years old now, im just happy it turns on.
