In this video I drive the 300 miles from Fairbanks to Chitna with the goal to catch red salmon. I started the drive late friday and car camped by the richardson monument. Saturday I got up finished the drive to Chitna. I spent the rest of the day dipnetting and caught as many salmon as could. I started the drive back Saturday night and then spent sunday filleting the fish. It was a great trip and was able to stock the freezer with salmon for the winter. Hope y'all enjoy the video!
