Another video in a series about #cyclingroutes in #Winnipeg. Today we explore the path through Fort Whyte Alive. This can be a relaxing way to go from Sterling Lyon to Kenaston while avoiding car traffic. However, it’s not always an available option, because it depends on park hours.

This also involves sidewalk riding because some stretches have no safe bike infrastructure, but there is no interaction with traffic for the most part. This also features the brand-new crossing light at McGillivray and Brady Rd.

19:52 - Continue on the right - Lakeside Trail
23:08 - Cross McGillivray at Brady Rd.
29:09 - Turn right to join the Kenaston MUP
33:54 - Cross at Brady Rd. to get back to Fort Whyte Alive
39:16 - Turn right at the TIPI
43:51 - Alternate exit
46:05 - Enter the parking lot to get back to IKEA
49:00 - Arrival at IKEA
