I think it's a failing fuel pump but I could be wrong.

Things to note:
-Battery is new and recharged weekly
-Spark plugs changed not too long ago as well as oil/filter

*UPDATE*
I used motorcycle fuel injector cleaner and the problem didn't seem to occur again the day before I filled the tank from half full using a different petrol station and it could have just been bad fuel.
