Bigme says its latest handwriting update improves the pen experience on its e-ink tablets, so I put it to the test. In this video I try the updated writing feel, look at palm rejection, accidental touches, diagonal line wobble, and compare it with better pen implementations elsewhere.
The result is interesting: things have improved, but not enough for me to call this solved. It also shows that good handwriting on e-ink is not simply a case of EMR versus capacitive. There is clearly more going on than that.
