The new IRCTC website is finally here! 🚞
First of all, the site is very very clean. There are no Captchas, pop-ups, or ads.
The site loading time is now much faster, navigation is smoother, and it can now handle 1,50,000 ticket bookings PER MINUTE, instead of 32,000 bookings! Plus you can see, all the seats available in one go.
And even if you are checking the status, the website can now handle more than 40 Lakh PNR and train enquiries per minute, all they way from from 4 lakh per minute.
Now there are some more features coming very soon. First is that, you’ll be able to select your preferred seat or berth directly during booking, so that you won’t be assigned a disappointment. You’ll also get a Fare Calendar just like flights, so you can now compare ticket prices across different dates and pick the cheapest one.
