The Arendal 1528 Monitor 8 is one of the most ambitious stand-mounted loudspeakers I've ever had in my listening room. Weighing in at 104 pounds each and featuring a dedicated three-way design, these flagship monitors promise full-range performance, exceptional detail, and uncompromising engineering.
In this video, I'll walk you through the design, share my listening impressions, examine the measurements, and, of course, let you hear the speakers for yourself through a series of reference sound clips.
As always, each sound clip begins with the original reference recording, followed immediately by my recording of the speakers using my standard recording chain. While these clips can't perfectly recreate what you'll hear in your own room, they can help convey the overall character of the speaker and provide a useful point of comparison.
