It's no surprise now that I now am the proud owner of a Clarke 350-38 Portable Sawmill but seeing the sawmill down at the factory is a whole different story than seeing it tucked away deep in the woods in my saw shed. Today is the day I take delivery of my new sawmill and get it set up and operational for the very first time. WIth my saw shed nearing completion, the arrival of the sawmill is not a day too soon. Watch as I fire up the 37hp Kubota diesel engine and cycle through all of the hydraulic controls. I'm brand new to a fully-hydraulic sawmill and so take it easy on me, I"m green as green can be. Be sure to check out the tarp walls I put up for the saw shed to keep out the weather. This should do the trick until I can get more lumber cut.
