Early October, 2017, I began to see strange footprints in a branch that parallels my home. Soon thereafter, a print appeared in a grassy area much closer to the house. I was able to take a decent cast (my first ever). I took the cast to a lecture by David Bakara, proprietor of Expedition: Bigfoot, a saquatch museum in Cherry Log, Georgia. He was excited about the print and took many pictures to send to Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum at Idaho State University. Dr. Meldrum is the #1 recognized academic expert on all things bigfoot. Meldrum liked the pictures, but refuses to give official statements about submissions unless he can examine them directly. He also refuses to accept casts in the mail because he says too many have been broken in transit. So barring a trip to Idaho, I guess the jury will remain out. I have always been a skeptic, but finding this print has been exciting. I intend to set up some game cameras with hopes of gathering more conclusive data.
