The Big-D Challenge,
I wanted to get the Bass fishers YouTube channels in our online
community together for one last stretch of Fall Fishing before
Winter sets in and the season ends ....
How does it work ? -
1. You will be challenged by Big-D or another fisher in the challenge
2. You will be sent a challenge package in the mail
a. The Package consists of 3- Soft Plastics Challenge Baits
b. The Baits are in Bait Tubes & Labeled With A Points System #
3. Tack the Package out on a 1-day Fishing Trip – Fish them however you wish
a. Put on a Drop-Shot, Texas-Rig, Carolina-Rig, Wacky, Shaky-Head, Weightless Or Weighted , use as a trailer, You can decide – just use the bait
4. Make a Video for your Channel , follow the instructions below , & post your video
a. Document your catches with the Lures , try to get the hookset, and video of the lures in your catches mouth ( we understand you might not catch it all on film – we will be using a good faith system )
b. Title it #BigDChallenge , all one word for tracking proposes – this hashtag will allow viewers to watch all the submission videos
c. After you post you video , share the link in this main videos comments and I will add it to the list of competitors
d. Even if you don’t catch any fish post your video – let us see you tried , there might be a prize involved
5. Pass the challenge along –
a. When your done with your challenge & want to challenge another angler , replenish the kit with baits of your choice – (generally about three of each item to ensure they have enough to work with )
b. Reach out to the other challenger and see if they are interested and mail them the bait tubes with your selected items and the rule card provided
c. Make sure to watch my main video as that will be the way we all communicate and track the videos guys and Gals
How the Point system works ? –
The challenge has 3- Bait Tubes in it
Each tube is worth a set amount of points 1-Point…. 2-Points…. 3-Points….
Each bait goes up in size and difficulty –
If you catch a bass on a 1-point bait its worth 1 point and so on… 2 point = 2 …. 3 point = 3
If catch let’s say 4 bass all on a 3 point bait well that is worth ( 3-Points x 4-Bass = 12-Points )
I will watch the videos submitted and post your final score in the comments box on this main Video
What do we get for participating ?
1st Place - a modified Bass Fishers Man Crate value around $75 Value shipped to them
Best Video- as voted on the crew of Fishing with Big-D - 1 LTB – Modified $30 value
In the event of a Tie – we will look at size of the fish and how many to determine the winner
