Check out this super cool snapping turtle! Snapping turtles are super awesome and pre-historic looking and a quite a common turtle in the eastern US. What makes us super excited about these guys is that we do not see them on the west coast a lot, due to the fact that these guys are considered invasive species and require sepcial permits.
We will be housing him for a small amount of time as we work on finding an educational facility that will put him on display or use him in an outreach program.
