Welcome to fight number 2 of 3 from the awesome Maker Faire Wellington 2018. What a spenldid event.

This fight is between two rookie fighters before quite possibly the biggest crowd we have ever enjoyed.
On the left we have, "Big Meanie" fighting with Burger Fuel's official Stupid Robot, "ThirdPound Wave."

ThirdPound Wave is primarily made from an Electrolux vacuum cleaner as a head, body and legs. Other parts include a Play Doh machine fist, a stainless steel fist and a toy musical keyboard stand for feet.
On the right we have, "Chicken Wings" fighting with, "C3 Stupido." C3 Stupido was designed and built at Armageddon Tauranga 2018 (like Comicon).
C3 Stupido has quite a varied array of parts including an upside down kettle head, a dolls house body, a toy telephone fist and, "Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots as a foot.
The crowd had swelled from the first fight as Maker Faire was in full swing. Although the cameras don't show it but we were surrounded by 360 degree of people. What an atmosphere!

Stupid Robot Fighting League is a funny new sport from Te Puke, New Zealand.
In it's simplest form, two robots with no robotics are controlled by poles attached to their hands, feet and head.
They beat up the other robot. It's lots of fun. If one robot's head is removed it's counted as a knockout.
We hope to make you laugh. We hope to have fun.
