On (90 Day Fiancé), Big Ed was dating, Philippines-native and 31 years his junior, Rose Vega. They met online and three months later, Big Ed decided to travel to the Philippines to meet her in person. We've seen Dateline specials on this stuff right?
Big Ed’s touched personality rubbed many the wrong way. His dishonesty and his poor treatment of Rose really contradicts his whole, “I started sharing anti-bullying messages and I’ve been able to create this positive platform.” Ed lied to Rose about his height and insulted her frequently. He once told her, “Last night I noticed that your legs were were hairy. So I’ll make you a deal. If you shave your legs, I’ll shave my beard.”
Ed gave Rose crap about her past relationships, and even asked her to take an STD test. He was rude to Rose’s family and constantly complained about their home and lack of modern amenities. He also showed very little interest in Rose's son, Prince, despite the fact that he might become his stepfather one day.
Aside from the crap he did to Rose, Big Ed was accused of sexual harassment by a woman he used to work with. She came forward with a series of videos on her TikTok feed detailing Big Ed's inappropriate behavior. She also went on the show Daily Soap Dish to give more detail about her allegations.
“For about nine months, I was being harassed by him sexually and also assaulted by him,” she said. “I don’t know if you’ve seen my last TikTok or one of my TikToks about an example of the first day that I met him, and that was also assault. So [there is] a lot going on with these allegations…By the end of it, I ended up in the hospital from an incident that happened with him, and I ended up having a lot of health issues from it. This was about four years ago, so I’ve been still trying to heal myself since that incident.”
Other than THAT, Big Ed sells his branded logo crap, coughs a bit more than normal people and tries to remain relevant.
