I hesitate to say "welcome to a new series" - maybe that's what this'll be, or maybe I won't make it past ep.1. In this video, I will review - in excruciating detail - every single app on the inaugural "Big Blue Disk" diskmag.
I am not highlighting or filtering anything; I want to address it with as much critical analysis as I can, and that means digging into the entire zeitgeist of the era. That could take a while, so expect these videos to end up pretty lengthy if I do more.
I have no idea if I'm biting off more than I can chew here, but I recorded and edited this months ago and I don't think it's garbage, even if it's not a white-knuckle rollercoaster. Please let me know if you want to see more of this; it's really hard to know if anyone would enjoy it other than me, so that feedback would really mean a lot. "Smash that like," I guess?
If you were around for this era and any of my conclusions are criminally wrong, please let me know as well and I will publish corrections. I was born in '88, after most of this was already over, and most of my knowledge comes from magazine scans and the like.
