BIG BIG TRAIN - AUTUMN 2026 TOUR – PLAYING WOODCUT IN FULL!

We are very pleased to announce that we will be playing our latest studio album Woodcut in full during our tour of the UK and Europe in September and October this year.
When we had finished recording Woodcut, we hoped that we would have the opportunity to play the whole album live. Now that a few months have passed since its release, the hugely positive response to Woodcut from fans and critics alike has convinced us to go ahead and play a Big Big Train album live from start to finish for the first time ever.
We have also commissioned Crystal Spotlight – who were responsible for the wonderful videos which accompanied the three singles from Woodcut (The Artist, The Sharpest Blade and Counting Stars) – to create films for the rest of the album. We expect that to screen these films at all of our UK shows except Birmingham and Glasgow. Over the summer we will announce which of our continental European shows will feature the films.
We will also be performing over an hour of other material on this tour from our back catalogue. We will be playing some of our best known songs as well as two or three lost classics, including material never previously played live.
