Here we have a great player piano rendition of "How High The Moon" played by Walter Erickson and issued as part of a 3-song medley roll entitled "Swing Medley No. 4" on Play-Rite 1050-B. A very popular song over the years, it was first a hit for Benny Goodman in 1940, then a 1948 hit for both Ella Fitzgerald and Stan Kenton before becoming a number 1 pop hit for Les Paul and Mary Ford in 1951 and finally a disco hit for Gloria Gaynor in 1975.
